Integration of Gleeder with nDapp.org

With the completion of its Gleeder integration, nDapp.org now provides users with a frontend option for the official page while utilizing the service. The goal of the upgrade is to make Gleeder, a program that allows users to convert NEO into GAS without requiring GAS to cover the transaction’s upfront costs, more accessible and well-known.

After governance voting and token trading via Flamingo were introduced, this is the third significant Neo on-chain tool integration for nDapp users.

Integration of Gleeder with nDapp.org

Gleeder is intended to make transactions on the Neo N3 blockchain easier for new users. While addresses that purchased tokens from an exchange or moved NEO from Legacy can begin to accrue claimable GAS, they do not currently have enough GAS balance to cast a vote or take part in other network activities.

This problem can be avoided by using a different address (which has GAS) to pay for the transaction. In Gleeder’s case, a proxy contract is used to sponsor the upfront GAS fees for executing the transaction. A small amount of the GAS from the trade is sent to the proxy, compensating it for the transaction fees paid, and the remaining GAS is returned to the user, ready for future transactions.

At the time of press, only NEO to GAS conversions are supported. Other NEP-17 tokens that are tradable on Flamingo could potentially be added, depending on support from Gleeder.
