Women are investing in blockchain and cryptocurrencies
A May 2018 research study by cryptocurrency exchange eToro examined gender data in the cryptocurrency market from March 2017 to February 2018 and found that, up until that time, women’s participation in cryptocurrency investing had been low in the industry.
It was found that men accounted for 91.5% of investors worldwide, and women accounted for 91.5% of the total. Only 8.5%.
Six years later, with strong leadership from India and Vietnam, we are seeing strong growth in women’s involvement, especially among millennials, young Gen Z, and women, especially in developing countries in Asia.
